The Problem with DIY Internal Moves
Most internal move injuries and damage happen within the first ten minutes — before anyone’s even warmed up. Tight stairwells, heavy solid wood furniture, and doorframes that are closer together than they look are a reliable recipe for a pulled back or a gouge in the drywall.
Our crew brings proper equipment: moving blankets, furniture sliders, floor runners, straps, and dollies. We know how to navigate narrow hallways, pivot furniture around corners, and get a king-size mattress up a tight staircase without taking out the railing.
You also don’t need to find a friend who “owes you one.” Book us for two hours, get it done, and move on with your day.

How Internal Move Pricing Works
We price internal moves two ways depending on the job. Either way, no hidden fees — what we quote is what you pay.
Hourly Rate
Most common. You’re billed per hour for the crew — most internal moves go out with two movers. There’s a 2–3 hour minimum, then billed in 30-minute increments after that.
Works well for anything involving multiple items, multiple floors, or furniture that needs disassembly.
Flat Rate
Applies to simpler jobs — same floor, same unit, a small number of items where the scope is clear upfront.
We’ll tell you at booking which structure makes sense for what you’re moving.
What Affects the Time (and Therefore the Cost)
Number & Size of Items
More items and larger pieces take more time — especially solid wood furniture.
Number of Floors
Basement to third floor is more time than same-floor moves.
Disassembly Required
Beds, wardrobes, and desks that need to come apart add time — but no separate charge.
Elevator Wait Times
Condo buildings with elevator wait times affect total job time.
Distance Within Property
Long carries within a large property or from garage to house add time.
Specialty Items
Pianos, safes, treadmills — items that need extra crew or equipment.
What the Moving Day Looks Like
You don’t need to do much. Here’s the short version.
Before We Arrive
Clear a path between where the item is now and where it’s going. If you want furniture placed in a specific spot, have a rough idea ready — we’ll work with your layout, not around it.
When We Arrive
We assess the job, confirm the plan, and get to work. We lay down floor protection, wrap what needs wrapping, and move items safely without rushing.
When We’re Done
Everything is placed where you want it. We collect our equipment and leave the space clean. If something isn’t quite right, we sort it before we go.

Clear Pathways
Remove obstacles to create safe, open routes. Rugs, small furniture, and door stops all help.
Empty Drawers
Remove contents from drawers to reduce weight — though drawers can stay in dressers if they’re secure.
